QHS Alumni,

This almost 95 year-old received the Association's newsletter with an appreciative attitude of a recent QHS graduate. As a patron listed just ahead of Dr. Meyer '36, a long-term family friend, I want to thank all the graduates for choosing Quincy High School.

A treasured classmate of mine, Allen H. Center '29, is now listed as the first name "In Memory." My wife and I, living in San Clemente, CA became close friends with 'Pete' and Nancy, who lived near San Diego, fifty miles away. Knowing them was a real pleasure. His accomplishments commended nationwide attention, meritted by his open, yet modest personality.

We saw them frequently and often spoke of the friends we enjoyed at QHS.
