Impressive debuts: First-cousins Anthony and Rose Longo get to share family bragging rights.

Anthony, the son of Quincy Notre Dame girls soccer coach Mark Longo, scored in his first game for the University of Illinois-Springfield, netting the game-winner with less than eight minutes remaining in a 2-1 victory over St. Francis.

Rose, the daughter of Quincy High School boys soccer coach Matt Longo, scored in the first half of Maryville's 7-0 victory over Schreiner University during a Labor Day Weekend trip to Texas in her college debut.
